About Me
Hello, I'm Vienna
I'm flattered you want to know a little bit more about me. I am a wife to an amazing husband, a mama to a beautiful 4 year old and just trying to keep it all together, just like you. I love cheesburgers, sweet (especially chocolate) and being creative and helpful are my passions.
I talk a lot about mental health on my social media platforms because I struggle with an anxiety disorder and sometimes depression. My goal is to help end the stigma and hopefully make others feel a little less alone.
I love to be productive and work really hard, but I am learning to rest and take care of ME, so I hope you come along on the journey with me.
My planner journey started in this planner community in November of 2013 and I never looked back. This is my first photo.
YOUTUBE
I posted my first YouTube video 6 years ago, (wow it has been a long time). You can watch the cringe worthy video here. I absolutely LOVED and still love creating and posting functional YouTube videos, it has always been a passion of mine.
PLANNER ADDICT BOX
In 2014 I had this "great" idea (in my head) to create a planner subscription box where I would create products people loved but just couldn't find anywhere else. I went with it and in April of 2014 I launched my first box. It was a lot of work, mainly because I thought it would be a great idea to make all of the products by HAND, and you probably guessed, that wasn't such a great idea. I was extremely blessed to get over 100 orders right off the bat, but then it was time to get to work. Me and my family printed, cut and glued a ton of notepads, sticky notes, page flags etc. for days! I was cutting page flags until my fingers felt like they were going to fall off, but somehow, we got the first batch of boxes out and it felt AMAZING. For 3 years I somehow developed a new box each month, and in January of 2016 I finally learned how to design and manufacture my own products, it was a dream come true to have my designs on sticky notes and washi tapes and stickers etc.
I couldn't have done any of it without the support of some awesome reoccurring customers, or my family who helped to pack and ship boxes each month, hubby was especially helpful and supportive.
MY DAUGHTER
In March of 2017, my daughter Everly was born and my life turned upside down, in a good way of course. I found myself struggling with anxiety and post pardom depression and struggles I never thought I would have and because of this, my business started to suffer and it was becoming extremely hard to run the business as a one women show, especially as a new Mom. Because of this, I decided to stop the boxes even thought it broke my heart to do so.
WHERE I AM NOW
I always knew that I could never completely leave the planner community, I love it too much. I love planning, creating and most of all contributing. I suppose I am not the type of person to just sit back and "watch". I need to CREATE and push myself and hope that what I create is beneficial to others and their journey. I developed courses and challenges in which I hope will help others to achieve the goals they have set for themselves and to maybe ease some anxiety with getting things done. I have also developed planner printables which are designed to help people plan easier and efficiently. The products I am creating now are created with the hopes they will aide you in some form, whether it be productively, mentally or even just to have a little fun with.
Thank you for coming along with me on this journey, I hope to cross paths and chat more!!
XOXO, Vienna Ortiz
